Alex Blair is a journalist, writer and communicator committed to publishing meaningful, hard-hitting stories.
He has worked in journalism, communications, the human rights and humanitarian spheres.
Some of his standout pieces include a podcast with a former UN Special Rapporteur on human rights abuses in Iran, a dispatch from Bolivia analysing the causes and impact of nationwide blockades, and a feature on Lithuania's fear of Russian invasion from the Ministry of Defence in Vilnius.
Alex is currently the Communications Manager at Garden Court North Chambers, a human rights law chambers which specialises in immigration, inquests, Court of Protection, protest rights, crime, housing, homelessness, prison, social security and public inquiries (including Hillsborough, Covid, Grenfell, Manchester Arena bombing & more).
He still writes for media outlets in a freelance capacity and is available for commission.
